I485 still waiting ..
Hi just wanted to see if anyone has similar experiences with asylum based i485.
I was granted asylum back in 2023 in NYC, changed my residency to Philadelphia, and submitted i485 application to Philly field office in June 2024.
Nov 2024—submitted additional medical exam documents
April 2025—i485 interview at Philly field office
Feb 2026—another interview was ready to be scheduled, which is weird. Same month, I received a notice saying my first interview (Apr 2025) was cancelled, which was thought by me to be a system error
Now the status is still “ Feb 2026–case is ready to be scheduled for an interview “
Does it look like my case was pulled out for review, and then got put back after they updated the status? I don’t quite understand the wait. Could anybody give some insights about this?
