Shorten waistband on travel BCD?
I own a lightweight Mares Magellan travel jacket that I bought a year ago and I really love. It’s sized L/XL and I’ve always had to pull the waist band to almost the smallest size to fit me, but it did fit. Now I’ve lost significant weight and it’s much too large even on the smallest setting.
It’s a really good bcd, ideal for traveling, and I’d love to be able to keep using it. Is there a way to shorten the waist band without compromising the integrity of the bcd?
