Advice for new tournament player?

I’m almost exclusively a cash game player, mostly 2/5. I’d like to think I have a lot of experience and know the game pretty well, but I’m much more comfortable in a cash game with 300 BBs in front of me than in a tournament with 20 BBs.

However, a friend of mine has convinced to play a tournament this weekend. We’re going to turning stone casino in upstate New York for the East Coast Poker Championships $100k GTD.

I was wondering if y’all had any advice on how to improve my tournament game so I feel more prepared. I only have like 5 days to study up, and I’m not interested in spending like $1000 for a tournament course I’m only going to use once. But if there are any good youtube channels/videos y’all would recommend or even just your own personal strategy, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
