Hey everyone — I’m working toward van life and realized I’d honestly love to connect with more LGBTQ+/gay people already doing it.

A lot of van life content online feels either super influencer-couple focused or very straight/outdoors-bro coded lol, so I’m curious what the experience is actually like for other gay van lifers.

• How has the community been overall?
• Do you feel safe most places?
• Any areas/states you especially loved or avoided?
• Is it easy to meet people while traveling?
• Did van life end up feeling freeing for you socially/mentally?

I’m mostly drawn to the freedom, photography/travel side, and building a simpler life, but it’d be nice hearing from people with similar experiences too.

Would genuinely love to hear stories/advice/connect with others in the community.
