I’m making my own custom t-shirt for an upcoming Strokes show, because apparently I cannot be trusted to attend concerts without inventing homework.

I’m looking for ideas for a cool/weird/subtle design. It doesn’t have to scream “THE STROKES”, honestly, the more IYKYK the better.

Could be a deep-cut lyric reference, an inside joke, something inspired by a song title, a fake product, an NYC thing, mildly cursed, overly niche, etc. Basically whatever your gloriously weird brains can come up with.

Any ideas? The weirder and more specific, the better. I’m trying to look effortlessly cool while putting in a deeply embarrassing amount of effort.

The goal is to get exactly one person at the concert to nod approvingly.
