MST PTSD
Hello I’m looking for guidance on how to claim for 2 MST incidents and if it’s possible to claim 2 MST at the same time?
For the first incident, it happened during tech school. My boyfriend at the time and I went to a hotel party and got heavily intoxicated. We had sex, but I don’t remember it, and it was my first time. He later told people in our class that I was laid out on the bed and motionless. I never reported it because he was my boyfriend at the time. Should I still report it even though it happened years ago? I still have two witnesses who heard him describe me being sprawled out on the bed. One of my friends says it would be considered rape. Also, would it matter that he’s no longer in the military due to his own mental health issues? Could that affect any benefits I may receive?
The second incident involved my supervisor. I reported it to SAPR as sexual harassment and gave a statement. My friend, who helped me through it, also made a statement, though I don’t have a copy of hers. Could I still receive benefits for this? I recently started going to Mental Health because of it.
Please help me figure the next steps and any advice is great! I’m thinking on getting out the military in a couple years.
