Hi everyone. I’ve gotten back into writing about 2 years ago after life got the best of me and took a break for about 10 years. In the past couple years, I picked back up the novel I was writing, as well as 2 novellas that I was working on that had decent starts and plot lines. The novel is finished and edited what seemed like a thousand times. I’m starting an outline before I get into editing the novellas so that I can look at the novellas with fresh eyes.
Eventually, I do want at least one of my pieces traditionally published. I’m afraid of self publishing because I don’t wanna get lost with all the others with all the work that goes into self publishing. But I’ll get there when I get there.
For the manuscripts that are good, but not publish worthy, what do you guys do with them? Do you keep them on your laptop or whatever you use to write? Or do you print them out and save them for a rainy day? Are there places that you put them online for others to read that isn’t for high school fanfics or isn’t romance heavy? I write a lot of noir/thriller.
