I bought a house with a large palm in the backyard. The top is green but the majority of the palms are dead and there is dead palms all over the ground. Is this normal or healthy? If it isn't how do I fix a palm this big? Is it not getting enough water? Shouldn't the roots be able to get water from the lake? Do I need fertilizer?
