Please pray that my medical dilemma will be resolved
I'm having trouble sleeping due to the stress of a medical decision. I suffer from Crohn's Disease and am unable to eat normally due to scar tissue in my bowel. I consulted a surgeon and he said he could remove the scar tissue but he would also have to remove my appendix, cecum and ileocaecal valve (this is standard procedure). I asked him if this was absolutely necessary, and he persuaded me that I don't really need those parts, so I reluctantly agreed to the surgery and it was scheduled for 6 weeks time. However, since then, I've been feeling uneasy about the surgery and after doing some research I found out that removing the valve could cause new health complications.
Consequently, I decided to make another consult with the surgeon to ask if he could do an alternative type of surgery that leaves the valve intact, which I found out is possible, but I'm feeling worried that he might not agree. Please pray that the consult will go well and this dilemma can be somehow resolved and I'll get the right treatment and get a good outcome. Thank you.
