ELI5, baseball fan, trying to learn the abbreviations.
Like title says. I’ve been a fan for 3 years, (Dodgers fan, no judgement). I know the basic stats, the . AVG, HR, RBI, ERA, K, etc. I’m trying to figure out the other stats as far as hitters. Any abbreviations and explanations as to what it is actually counting even if it’s listed, please give it to me. I love talking baseball and I feel like I’m “learning” but I’d like to learn as much as possible to be able to follow stats more. So ELI5 any abbreviations in baseball I should know. TIA.
