
Being a part of Sbi..this makes me worried
Why should aspirants prepare so hard for a job like this? It's been a year since I joined Sbi and I know the environment of branches...it's not about how much work you do...how many customers you deal with...it's about how many policies you sell in a day...even if you working non stop from morning till evening without any rest ..if you haven't sold any policy ..you work is considered to be 0...I'll be honest ..being a junior associate and having a supportive branch manager ..I don't feel that much pressure...but most of the branch managers aren't like this ... instead of being supportive they just pass on the pressure to their employees..
And now this news ...why should we try to sell a product to the customer when he's clearly not interested and feels uncomfortable even when we talk about it ...
And if they really want to boost the sales they should hire specialists just for the sale purpose..a different exam should be conducted for the marketing post instead of just putting the pressure on already hired employees when they are already overburdened with work and customer dealing...
What are your thoughts about it?...Is it worth to prepare so hard for this?
