Okay so here is a picture of the question, 3.41, I'm currently working on. I can answer b and c easy enough, but a has been a problem for like a little under 2 hours. I've reread the chapter 3 times and feel really stuck about how to proceed. Since it wants to know the probability for the cordials, I am under the impression that I need to integrate the following nested integral somehow, ∫ (from 0 to x) and ∫ (x to 1/2). Any help and detailed explanations would be greatly appreciated.
