A family of EO
Slava Isusu Christu! There is a family of Russian Orthodox, parent and their kids, who are seeking to become Catholic.
However, they are baptized Roman Catholics, before chrismated to become Russian Orthodox. We are living in Asia that there is no a single Greek Catholic eparchy (excluding Harbin Exarchate, of course) and still rely on a visiting priest by chance.
The question is, if a Greek Catholic priest come and receive them, do they belong to Byzantine rite, or go back to Latin rite of their baptism? I read the CCEO but it seems not clear regarding to this case, maybe somebody here could explain to me.
Thank you in advance!
