Can the downstairs layout be improved?
Is it possible to open this downstairs up to include the following:
Open plan kitchen/diner
Guest bedroom with small en suite
Living room
Hallway & entryway
Pantry
Garage but can be smaller than current size/some could be converted
Playroom
The wall which splits the downstairs in half is load bearing so would need to be replaced with a steel to open it up.
We're happy to lose some of the internal doors if this helps and to lose the external door next to the garage.
The electrics, insulation and central heating needs updating anyway so no better time to reconfigure.
