We just launched an app to find rooms and housemates called Homee and wanted to share it here first since finding a place near UNSW is genuinely painful.
The idea is pretty simple. If you're looking for a room, you create a profile so landlords and listers can actually see who you are rather than you just firing off messages into the void. If you've got a room, you list it and get matched with real people.
First Sydney listings are going live this week. Still early days but that's kind of the point, early users get seen first and actually help shape how the thing works.
We're also doing a founding week thing where everyone who signs up this week gets 2 weeks of Premium free and goes into the draw for a $500 EFTPOS gift card. Tagging a mate in the comments or reposting gets you extra entries.
