Crazy patina on this Father John’s!
Pretty much everything from this dump has a nice patina but this one is particularly nice. 1890s ish.
Whiskey Time! Locally embossed amber whisky quart!
John J McCormick ran a successful grocery and wholesale liquor store in Norristown PA starting in 1891. He moved to Main St in 1899 so this bottle likely dates to right about the turn of the century.
Blob top beer in the hole!
Nice local beer with an applied blob finish. Adam Scheidt Brewing Co out of Norristown PA. Early to mid 1890s.
Hood’s Sarsaparilla fresh from the ground.
I’ve dug this dump a few times in the past, but I have never put much of a hole in the ground. I’ve pulled some nice sodas and a few milks. Today I finally got down to the good stuff. Started to hit the 1890s at about 7 feet. Hood’s is the most common Sasparilla but it’s still a pretty bottle. And this dump puts a killer patina on most of what I’ve pulled so far.
