Pittsburgh PRT (Port Authority) Light Rail

*Warning: I'm just yapping, don't take this too seriously.

I grew up in the south hills of Pittsburgh, and I still find it really weird that the northern part of the city and the surrounding suburbs didn't get a light rail system, but the rural-ish unincorporated community of Library (south of the city) did get a light rail station.

To me at the very least, it would make sense to have a light rail line along McKnight Road and bypassing I-279, similar to the red line through Lebo, Dormont, and Beechview, then going through a tunnel and a bridge toward downtown.

I could also see something from the Allegheny Station up toward Bellevue, Emsworth, or maybe even Sewickley via Brighton Heights.

I'm probably just noticing old streetcar lines and hoping, but it would be cool to see more transit in the north of Pittsburgh, outside of buses; although, there's probably not enough density for that. Anyways, if anyone has thoughts, I'd love to hear
