I heard some knocking under my house and looked out the window and saw this guy making its way down towards the lake on our property. I thought at first it was a red eared slider, but it appears to be completely solid black/deep brown. I did see its face before taking the video and there were no colored markings. The only thing I could think of is maybe it is melanistic? I apologize for the poor video quality from the window screen. Thank you in advance if anyone can identify this cutie in such poor video quality!😊
