UC BERKELEY OR USC?
Hi everyone!
I just got off the waitlist from my dream school - USC, and deciding which choice is better for my situation.
UC Berkeley - full ride or USC - around 30k per year.
USC has always been a dream. I am a Journalism major so living in LA, especially during 2028 Olympics makes me excited. Their Journalism program is also one of the best in the country and taking a minor at the cinematic arts school will open more opportunities.
On the other side, Berkeley is close to home and I was lucky to get a full ride. They also have a great Media Studies program, but it is more theoretical and I feel worried about it. I’m looking for more of a hands-on experience.
If anyone was in similar situation - please, share your thoughts. I’m really feeling conflicted and would appreciate any input!
