I recently bought my first dap, the hiby r1, which will be delivered tomorrow. I’m very new to this, so what should I do upon receiving it? I’ve read many posts saying to update the firmware but some people seem to have issues with the updated one, so I’m not sure which firmware to update to or how to update it. From what I understand, the sd card should be in the dap when updating, but should it be empty or have my music files in it? And directly connecting the r1 via usb to the comp to transfer files seems to be controversial as well since it can cause some issues with the sd card, so should I use a card reader instead? And lastly some people mentioned having to reformat their sd cards? I don’t understand what that means or how to do it, some guidance would be appreciated, thanks! :)
