For Context i’ve bank fished for a few years but never took it super serious as no one in my family enjoyed fishing, well recently I’ve bought a boat from a friend and I have been lake fishing. I’ve been out six times and got skunked everytime with the exception of a few nipples, but then I go throw the same lures in a pond and catch three or four fish in the span of 20 minutes. Is there certain lures I need to buy for a lake or is my luck on the lake just horrible I have used (wacky rig worm, Carolina rig, spinners, chatters, frogs and smaller swim baits) I’d hate to waste a lot of money trying a ton of different lures if there’s a certain thing I should be looking for (I’m in Central NC if that helps any) Any tips or help is greatly appreciated or if I should look into paying for a app like Fishbrain. -Thanks
