My two year old (3 in September) has been biting her nails ever since we took her binky away after her 2nd birthday. I’ve tried painting them pretty colors, painting them with no-bite polish, giving her other things to bite, nothing is working. Her pediatrician did not have much advice other than trying to ignore it for a while, but that’s not helping either. This morning she had a few bit to the point of bleeding, and I just don’t know what else to do 😫 I’ve thought about covering them with bandaids, but I’m also afraid she might chew pieces off or the entire bandaid and swallow it. She really only does it when she’s in her bed going to sleep or after she’s just woken up. Any advice?
