Hello everyone.

I recently bought a pre owned 2023 cx9 GS L.

Love it a lot.

I have all seasons installed on the OEM 20 inch wheels.

I recently came across a pretty cheap set of CX5 17 inch rims for the years 2013 to 2016 which I'm considering for a separate set of winter tires. (I live in Quebec).

These ones to be specific

They have the correct center bore and bolt pattern.

The only issues are the width and offset.

They are 17 x 7j offset 50.

The stock are 20 x 8.5j offset 45

Anyone have any idea if they would fit ?

Based on this website it looks like it could work with tire size 235 70 17. The overall wheel size would be very close to the stock wheel size.

I'm also wondering. Even if they do fit how much of an affect would they have on overall handling ? And could they increase wear of or damage suspension ?

Anyone have a similar winter setup ?

Thank you everyone.

Looking forward to enjoying this car for a long time to come. 🙂
