What is an extra ability/mechanic you added to a classic monster that you're proud of?
One of the great struggles of DM is finding a way to make every monster/encounter feel like a unique experience. Some monsters have a beautiful amount of flavor woven into their mechanics, others are just 2 resistances and a claw attack. So it falls on us as the DM to find a bit of seasoning to sprinkle on them. I'm always looking to improve my monsters and would love to hear what other people have come up with (as well as share my mechanic I'm proud of!)
Don't mess with Invincible fans, we don't even consume our own media
Rognarrs are glass cannons and this community wildly overscales them.
If you weren't aware, Wisconsin got its "legal weed" from the 2018 farm bill accidentally making hemp-derived THC federally legal. Trump and the GOP made sure to close that loophole in 2025 and it will go into effect this November. Unless the Democrats can retake the legislature and quickly legalize weed, this will likely put many small businesses out of businesses.
Here in La Crosse we have 9 (probably even more I don't know about) and them going out of business will accelerate the death of our downtown probably by a good 10 years.
