Finished my 7 day water fast!

I officially finished my 7-day water fast today! This is my second time water fasting.

I started at 263 and weighed in at 247.6 this morning so I’m down 15.4 lbs.

Day 1&2 was absolute HELL. My cravings were crazy, but once I got past the first couple days it got easier. By the end of it I wasn’t really hungry and my mental clarity felt amazing.

Electrolytes helped a lot. I had learned that the hard way from my first fast because I had terrible headaches last time.

I also started my period during the fast, which definitely made things interesting. 😭

The weight loss on the scale was cool, but looking in the mirror and seeing physical changes is what shocked me the most. My face looks slimmer, my neck looks slimmer, and my pants fit a little looser.

I know I’ll gain some weight back once I start eating again, and that’s okay. I’m really proud of myself and the biggest thing was proving to myself that I could actually stick with it.

Best of luck to anyone starting their fast! You got this. 💪🏾

Now it’s time to break this fast with some bone broth. 😋
