Grestch Eletromatic G2220 vs Streamliner Jet Club
Hello everyone!
I'm new here and would like to ask for your opinion.
I'm thinking about buying a short-scale bass, and I've become very interested in the Gretsch models. I've seen a lot of reviews about the infamous G2220 and its more recent counterpart, the Streamliner Jet Club Bass, and I can't decide which one is the better choice.
I like the sound of both and only notice a small difference between them. However, I noticed that there are some differences in construction, such as the woods used and the hardware.
Here in my country, I don't see any stores selling the G2220 anymore, but from time to time I find people selling used ones. So I'd like to ask what your opinion is about these basses, especially from owners of either model, because I don't know if it's worth waiting for an opportunity to buy a used G2220 or if I should just buy a brand-new Streamliner.
