Legal Secretary lied
New legal secretary started, their associate asked them to draft initial FROGS for 4 plaintiffs. The secretary shows up with a hand drawn picture of a frog to our case meeting. Asked “is this good enough to make into 4 copies…” the partner, two associates and I were absolutely dumbfounded. I don’t think I’ve ever had a level of cringe this bad. I was certain the partner was playing a joke and i looked over and laughed at him and he glared at me with wide eyes.
The associate asked why she did that and she said ChatGPT assisted them.
In the interview process, the firm was specific about experience in litigation. If you don’t know what a form interrogatory is, you have little to no litigation experience. Happy hump day.
