New driver here and I’m honestly so upset with myself. I scraped my car pretty badly against a yellow pole while pulling into a parking lot.
I’m trying to figure out how bad this might be / what my options are before panicking too much.
For people who’ve dealt with this before:
- Does yellow pole paint sometimes just transfer and buff out?
- How can I tell if it’s surface-level vs needing full body work?
- Roughly how much did your repair cost (detailer vs body shop)?
- Is insurance usually not worth it for something like this?
Would really appreciate any advice, DIY options? or if I should just take it to a professional shop.
