Looking for advice on a cross-border misclassification case. I'm EU-based and worked remotely for a UK (English) firm for two years with clear 'employee' status (company laptop, set hours, fixed salary etc.).

I missed the 3-month UK tribunal deadline, but I am still within the time limits for claims in my local jurisdiction. Still, I'm interested if any UK routes remain; there is also a potential whistleblowing element to the case.

I’m motivated to take action, but I’ve mostly seen precedents for local gig workers. Has anyone successfully challenged a UK company from EU/EEA/abroad in general in a remote job context? Any tips on the best approach would be appreciated.

Happy international workers day!
