I’m a new player (learning tank) trying to learn Mythic+, and I’ve noticed I struggle much more with the older dungeons in the current rotation than with the current-expansion ones.

For the newer Midnight dungeons, follower dungeons have been really helpful because I can practice at my own pace and get familiar with the 3D layout routing and boss mechanics,

But for the older dungeons, I feel much more lost.

I can look up MDT routes, guides, and videos, but I have trouble translating the 2D route into the actual in-game map while tanking.

I understand just doing m0 or low keys might be the only way to actually learn. I guess I just feel bad for my PUG group mates. I do tell the group: “Still learning, please bear with me.”

Besides just repeatedly doing M0s and low keys, is there another good way to learn older dungeons more efficiently as a tank?

I’m curious how other tanks learned older seasonal dungeons before follower dungeons existed.

Do you have to wait for Monk's Keg Smash animation to finish?
If I cut it short by pressing another cooldown, will it decrease the damage Keg Smash does?
