Marketing pop ups while shopping online

I can’t possibly be the only one annoyed to no end by the marketing pop ups on shopping sites that literally block whatever it is you are contemplating buying. I’m just about to read the description and no - blocked by a discount offer - ??. It’s like the a guy in a brick & mortar store standing in front of you purposely blocking the stuff on the shelf until you leave. It’s 100% interrupting the buying process. It’s usually a discount like I was going to buy it without a discount but ok - I give my email - check ur email - no I don’t want to - then sometimes they want my phone number - and it’s like no. I go to check out and the discount is rejected because I didn’t buy enough ? you literally stopped me from shopping - and now I’m annoyed and leave without buying anything. Why do they persist with this practice’ it seems counter to everything Ive ever learned about sales.

I live in Morristown off South Street and need to park overnight elsewhere on occasion because my apartment's lot is full or the space is so tight I can't fit my vehicle (annoying). I have parked in the ramps by the green, but having to make that walk back home late at night is not fun. The ramp over by the train station is closer, but expensive for a monthly parking pass when already paying expensive rent. I am on the list for monthly parking permit but it's long. Any suggestions??
