I accidentally turned my LivingDex tracker into a whole Cobblemon project

I’ve been working on a project that started out as something very simple.

I wanted a way to organize my Pokémon in my PC in the correct order while completing my LivingDex. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I started building it myself.

That eventually turned into a website connected to a database, and then I decided to make a Cobblemon mod that acts as a bridge between the game and the website.

Now it keeps track of things like:

  • Your Pokédex / LivingDex
  • Overall collection progress
  • Pokémon catches
  • Evolutions
  • Trades
  • Trainer profiles

There’s also a live server Feed, where everyone can see what’s happening in-game

The cool part is that you don't have to manually update anything. Catch a Pokémon in Cobblemon, the mod sends the event to the database, the website updates automatically.

It’s still a work in progress, but I’m pretty happy with where it’s going.
