Just looking for advice, help. I am a government employee, working for the VA. I use a government vehicle to drive to, and from facilities. Was told I was speeding on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and only found out because there was a tracking device installed in the vehicle. Also, was notified six weeks after the fact. No proof of corroborating evidence, but was immediately suspended from future use of all government vehicles. Am I being targeted? Is there a process of warning systems? Procedures for formal warnings? Was told I was doing over 40 miles an hour above the speed limit, which doesn’t seem likely. Feel like I am being targeted. Am I being paranoid??? This is now escalating to involve union meetings, formal complaints.Haven’t had a speeding ticket in over 20 years. Find it hard to believe I was speeding so fast. The state troopers didn’t pull me over. Asked about the accuracy and calibration of tracking unit was not given any kind of direct answer. Does anyone have experience with this? Looking to see if I have a formal complaint for harassment.
