[PC] Need Help/Advice Selling Equipment
Hello All!
First time posting after a friend recommended asking here. Over the years, I have acquired a sizable stash of enterprise gear. I always dreamed of setting up a home lab that had no right to be in a residential home, but unfortunately I'm planning on moving and just can't justify taking it all with me. So instead of moving across the entire country (from Alaska to the east coast) with it, I'm just going to sell most of it off and eat the cost..
My main reason for posting tho, is I really don't want to piecemeal all of this with 50+ separate eBay listings or whatever. So I'm looking for some advice on how I can/should go about offloading this. I'm thinking of reaching out to local businesses and doing bulk sales but I've never done that and don't even know where to start.
For an idea of what I'm talking about, I've taken some quick pictures as I've grabbed boxes but still need to thoroughly go through everything. Most of what I have is fiber optic gear including SFPs, cables, converters, PCI cards, and I think some adapters I have in another box somewhere... Plus HDD's with and without caddies, DAC cables, and other misc network equipment.
Any advise on how I should go about posting/selling/talking to local businesses would be GREATLY appreciated.
Quick pictures I took this morning for reference. Still have some boxes and bins to pull out and open. But I think most of that is consumer grade stuff: "https://imgur.com/a/gear-ive-unpacked-so-far-xr6uhx8"
edit: Found my pelican case of RAM. Imgur post updated.
