Cute comments from students about my pregnancy

I teach 5/6 year olds that are finishing kindergarten soon. I’ve been their teacher for roughly two years and we live in a small town so I wanted to be the one to tell them that I’m expecting a baby. Three weeks ago I sat them down in circle time and told them that I’m pregnant (17 weeks). It took them some time to get used to the idea but one of my students has wanted to hug my “belly and the baby” every day since and is waiting to feel kicks. Another student asked me recently “how everything is going with the baby” - genuinely asked how my pregnancy is going! 🥹 A few of them overheard me telling a staff member that I’ll leave early from work next week for a doctors appointment and they were asking me if I’m going to the doctors to give birth. They have also been guessing the gender and giving me ideas for baby names. What a cute and considerate class - I will miss them 🥰
