I took off this super floppy leaf from my snake plant and decided to prop it since it wasn’t dead yet and now it is a mother!! What should I do with it? Should I pot it already?

I don’t feel like it has enough roots to be potted yet. And if/when I do pot it, any suggestions on pot size? I know it’ll need a little one for the root size but it needs space for the baby to pop up.

When the baby is big enough to be on its own I’m considering cutting down the big leaf as she’s not the prettiest but I’m so glad I could salvage it! Is this a bad idea? Or a neutral one where it doesn’t really matter either way?

I’m very excited about this prop as it’s my first snake plant prop I’ve even attempted to do!
