Was happy now just over it
After a month, I've decided to go back to TD2. I wanted to love Resurgence, but the number of bugs has finally worn me down.
From the audio completely cutting out, invisible UI elements trapping me in menus, losing gear after update, and crashes just from trying to use the map, it's starting to feel like I'm battling the code more than the Freemen. I get that mobile launches are tough and the devs are pushing patches, but I'd rather play a game where the biggest threat is a Hunter or Rogue Agent, not a hotfix.
So hello TD2. Sure, it has its own fun bugs (and probably a weird texture issue or two), but at least it’s a stable experience where my gear actually feels worth grinding for .
It's ironic leaving a new game for an older one to find a more polished experience. I guess I'll be the guy asking if "yellow filter" fix is live yet.
