Hi everyone,

I help with operations for a small local service business and we’re trying to clean up our booking/client workflow.

We’re looking at different CRM / booking tools, but before choosing anything I wanted to hear from people who actually use these systems every day.

What problems annoy you the most?

For example:

  • messy client data or duplicate clients
  • staff not using the CRM properly
  • booking conflicts
  • no-shows and last-minute cancellations
  • integrations with Google Sheets / calendars / payments
  • exports that are hard to use
  • poor mobile experience
  • too many buttons/settings
  • hard-to-trust reports
  • losing context between chat, website, and CRM
  • weak reminders or follow-ups
  • difficult migration from spreadsheets

What features sounded good at first but turned out useless?

And what small feature actually saved you the most time?

I’m especially interested in simple service businesses like salons, barbershops, beauty studios, massage, clinics, tutors, repair shops, etc.

Trying to understand the real day-to-day pain before committing to a system.
