Hi everyone,

I recently hard-bricked my OnePlus Pad 3 (Snapdragon 8 Elite variant).

Currently, the device is completely black-screened but can successfully boot into EDL mode (Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) when connected to a PC.

The issue is that the device was running on firmware version 16.0.5.700 before it bricked. When I attempted to flash it, the process stopped immediately at the loader stage, giving a "Loader: Verify Failed" error. It seems like it tightly requires Oppo/OnePlus Auth (Authentication) or a newer firehose/programmer file compatible with this patch level.

My questions are:

1. Does the latest version of UnlockTool or DFT Pro officially support bypassing the Auth and fixing this "Verify Failed" issue on this specific firmware (16.0.5.700)?
2. Is there any known workaround to unbrick this device without paying a ridiculous amount of money (an online remote service quoted me $120)?

Any advice, insights, or links to matching loader files would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
