Hi everyone! I’m looking for some creative and safe advice on how to get my new rooftop tent onto my SUV with just two people (myself and my girlfriend). We are facing a significant logistical challenge because the hard shell/soft shell RTT weighs approximately 165 lbs (75 kg), and my SUV has a roof height of about 5.7 ft (1.75 m). To make matters worse, we live on a relatively narrow street with a noticeable slope, and we don't have access to a garage or any other convenient lifting area. The tent is too wide to pass through any of the house windows, it won't fit through the narrow side gate or entrance to the yard, and the street's incline makes using a standard DIY hoist or simple ladders feel quite sketchy. Thanks for any advice on how to handle this "street-side" mounting safely!
