Any dog boarding experience?
Hey all,
I recently moved for an in office job. My boy is adjusting relatively well after having me working from home for 4 years. His separation anxiety was pretty bad at first, but he generally can be left alone for 4-maybe 5 hours at a time with little issues now.
I’ve never boarded him or used a doggie daycare, I used to get a house sitter at my old place for when I was out of town, and a dog walker when I was out for more than 5 hours. I’m thinking daycare would be nice for him to socialize and play with other dogs (he’s pretty playful for an older gent), and a bit easier for me to not have to coordinate with a house sitter. But he’s of course a typical sensitive greyhound when it comes to change (he hates it).
I’m wondering what people’s experience with dog boarding their greys? He would def have to be separated from small dogs. Any insight is appreciated. Doggy pic tax included.
