Does Alpha strike have to deal damage among all the enemy units in the battlefield or am I able to choose the ones I want to deal damage to?

Also, does the damage have to be equally split with the difference of 1 or can I distribute the damage to my liking?

Let's say for example there are three units with 2,3 and 4 might in the battlefield. If my chosen unit has 6 might, can I kill the units with 2 might and 4 might, do I have to do 2 damage to all of them killing only the 2 might unit?
