I’ve been make rugs for over a year now, and I’m finally at a spot where I feel extremely proud of what I make. THOUGH…I know my downfall is shaving.
I feel as thought my lines are never as crispy as everyone else’s that I see.
There’s always little stragglers hanging around and I go in circles around each rug for hours and hours and it seems to never end!!
I feel like I get my lines to a good spot where I’m comfortable, but I know there’s always more I can do.

So, how do you guys solve the issue with stragglers hanging around your “crisp” lines???

*pic for attention + it’s the most detailed rug I’ve made so far for a friend and I’m proud* :)

For the past couple of months, I’ve been doing a bunch of commissions for friends, family, coworkers etc. Everything has been word-of-mouth. BUT I really want to start making commissioned rugs available to my following.

My question is - how do you ask for shipping / know how much shipping will cost once finished?

I already require 50% of the cost upfront before starting the piece, I guess I’m just unsure how to calculate how much an unfinished piece will cost with the shipping. Any advice is appreciated<3
