Looking for advice. Just retired from Navy on May 1st after 20. I filed a BDD(at least I thought I did) in the first week of December. I call last week because I see my Va.gov account went backward and said on May 1st “claim received”. So I call. Long story short they didn’t see the required assessment I uploaded in January so they switched my BDD claim to a regular claim and started it over on May 1st. The person on the phone admitted to the mistake. Said he made a note in my file then told me to call back in 2 weeks to check status and reference the date of the call. I’m obviously extremely frustrated. What do I do now?
