A History of Australia by C.M.H. Clark
I’ve just finished vol 1 of Manning Clark’s “A History of Australia” in 6 volumes.
I’ve also read the condensed version. He’s got a dry humour and an eye for the ridiculous and the pompous. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read a lot, and I’m interested in opinions on the books, maybe from historians.
Thanks
