Company Review: Capco
Joined a consulting firm in Pune around 6 months ago, and my experience has been quite disappointing so far. I spent nearly 2 months on the bench initially, and when I finally got allocated to a project, it wasn’t aligned with my technical skillset at all.
The overall management and project allocation process feels highly unstructured, with very little clarity on career growth or technical direction. I also tried reaching out for trainings and upskilling support, but never received any meaningful response from the L&D team.
There’s a lot of marketing around AI and innovation internally, but in reality, there seems to be very limited practical exposure or opportunities to work on anything substantial in that space.
The work culture has become increasingly frustrating, especially for someone in a technical role looking to grow. At this point, I’m already considering resigning despite joining recently.
From my experience, the company may suit functional or non-technical roles better, but I would strongly advise technical professionals to evaluate carefully before joining.
