Need advice on a incident with my parked car
New to Reddit so hopefully I am doing this right, however last year on Feb 17th, my car was lit on fire while it was parked. I live in an apartment and I had have valet trash. The valet trash truck was parked behind my car and somehow it caught on fire, resulting in mine and 3-4 other cars catching fire. At the time of the incident, of course I had no insurance so I was stuck to deal with this on my own. Due to the nature of the incident, I believe I was not at fault so I tried to go after the person who drove the valet trash’s insurance. They ultimately deemed that they were not a fault because the truck he was driving in was a new 2025 GMC truck and the reason for the fire is unknown. I am at a dead end trying to figure out how to get this resolved as I am still liable for the payments. I have tried multiple lawyers in the DFW area but due to the unique nature of the case, no one is really able to help. Please any pointers or advice to get this problem resolved would help me so much. TIA
