I’m the developer of GridDown OS, a Windows offline preparedness app with an optional local Meshtastic USB bridge.
I’m looking for a few Meshtastic users willing to test the bridge flow on real hardware:
- USB radio detection
- scan/rescan behavior
- local bridge startup
- sending and receiving messages from the app
- setup friction on Windows
This is a closed beta, not a public launch. I’m not posting a public download link here. I’m mainly looking for technical feedback from people already using Meshtastic devices.
If you’re interested, comment or DM me with your device model, firmware version if you know it, and Windows version. I can share details privately and issue a beta key.
Also happy to hear if this kind of integration would or would not be useful in real deployments.
