Help I have paper 2 coming up for English language and I haven’t done enough.
For context, I joined my school in 11th grade over halfway into the year and I had previously given AS levels but that was Edexcel and now Im doing AS Cambridge (same subject), I got a high B in paper 1 and a high D in paper 2 (Edexcel)- yes I am repeating grade 11 because my last school was unfair with predicted grades and racist.
So I joined in December 2025 about than halfway into the school year and didn’t do anything for English language until March Mocks 2026 came about in which my paper was graded and I was given a for B paper 2 and a D for paper 1 (time management- I spent way to long on part 1b which I did again in the official paper that was yesterday, also I have extra time 25% cos ADHD but still I struggle and hyperfixate).
So bad that I didn’t finish Question 2 (the 25 marker)😭
It is now the end of April/ start of May 2026 and my paper is very soon. I really want to avoid taking re tests for this subject because my weakest subject is business and I don’t want be stuck giving all re tests and compromising revising for my A-level’s and everything else😭😭
My writing style is good, it is academic and I always plan before I write, my plan is to go through conventions and make a list of essential AND bonus vocabulary, I’ll go through model answers and past papers where I don’t actually write answers but I plan them(Again, I have ADHD and I just know I’m not going to sit and do one, so planning is better than doing nothing ig).
If anyone has any other tips or suggestions to get a high/higher grade(B and above) for 9092 Paper 2 Writing, I would really appreciate it.
Also if you have any opinions on my current plan as well, I would really like to hear it.
I sort of know what I’m doing but I don’t know if it’s right or enough, please let me know, all suggestions/advice open, Thanks!🙏
