Are people leaving for a job that can offer more stability??

I’m thinking about taking a 10k pay cut to get into some of the bigger defense companies like Northrop or General Atomics for long term growth. Even though I love my current work schedule and pay, I’ve been unhappier since all of the stuff that has been evolving over the last 1.5 years. What is everyone’s thoughts?

My RA was approved a year ago but I still don’t feel secure. Everything that has been going on and continues to make me feel I need to jump ship. I was hired remote before all this and now am the only one on my team that gets to work from home. I’ve been looking to leave this job even if it means leaving remote structure. We are being underpaid and overworked with no real growth opportunities. 2026 COLA was 1% and 2027 is 0%. Anyone else feels the same way.
